This week we review the features and benefits of the much anticipated Titleist 915 wood/hybrid line which is scheduled to hit stores in the next few weeks. Previous generations of Titleist drivers have benefited those who needed a little more spin and in some cases have hindered those looking to reduce spin. The “active recoil channel” technology aims to provide ideal launch and spin while still providing max forgiveness on off center hits. The 915 D2 will be a 460 head with more draw bias and a higher launch. The 915 D3 will be a 440 head with more fade bias and a lower launch.
The “active recoil channel” carries over to the fairway and hybrid line and will reduce spin and increase ball speed.
