A golfer’s angle of attack is one of the most overlooked aspects when evaluating a golfer’s driver swing. Are your drives a low launching slice with an occasional pop-up? It could be that your angle of attack is negative with your driver. For a golfer to be a good driver of the golf ball, he or she must have a positive angle of attack with a driver. During a driver fitting, one of the first factors we evaluate is the golfer’s angle of attack. As part of a driver fitting we work on improving your angle of attack and finding a driver that improves launch and spin to maximize your distance.
